John Kellogg Post Card This is a great vintage Real Photo Postcard. It is a photograph of John Kellogg founder of the Kellogg Co. The photograph is copyrighted by E.E. Doty. There is a greeting at the bottom front that reads "Merry Christmas J.H. Kellogg". This is a printed greeting not an original signature. This is a very rare postcard. Condition is very good unused. A comedy film about Mr. Kellogg was made a few years ago called "The Road to Wellville". While this film was a comedy it will give you an idea of Mr. Kellogg’s unusual ideas about health.

AUTOGRAPHED Vintage Real Photo P.C. Portrait of Artist Pierre Van Ransbeeck Here is a 4 x 5 3/4 inch black and white real photo post card. It is a portrait of Belgium sand artist Pierre Van Ransbeeck; and he has signed the front of the card. The signature is there though light and I have done my best to capture it in my photos. I believe it is authentic as this card was part of my Mother's collection of post cards and was in her possession since the mid 1960's. This card is vintage late 1940's- early 1950's. Artist Pierre Van Ransbeeck, also know as Peter Ransbeeck, of Brussels, Belgium worked in colored sand. He would first sketched his picture on a large blackboard, then he added glue and then the different tints of sand. He even did sand paints of famous paintings. This card is in very good unused condition.

Liner California entering Havana Harbor Here is a great very early 1900's post card. The autos look like about 1908. There is also a light house in the distnace. The caption on the back reads "Entering Havana Harbor, The new turbo-electric liner California of the Panama Pacific Line. With her sister ships Virginia and Pennsylvania in regular servive between New York and California in both directions by way of Havana and the Panama Canal. These three vessels are the largest liners in intercoastal service, each being more than 600 feet long and over 30,000 tons displacement.". Post Card The Prudential Insurance Co. This unique post card is postally unused and is in excellent condition. The building depicted has a sign that reads "The Prudential Friendly Society". On the back it is numbered 81719 and says "Replica of the original basement office of the prudential Insurance Company of America against a mural showing the present-day Home Office buildings in Newark, N.J., and Regional Home Office buildings in other cities. The Prudential's Historical Exhibit in Newark, N.J." This card measures 5" tall by 7" across.
